Can one enjoy Burgundy wine without the prohibitive price?

Shobha Narayan says readers should not be deterred by the high price of Burgundy wines because there’s much to be enjoyed that won’t break the bank

If you tell Indian oenophiles that you are going to Burgundy, they will point you to Domaine de la Romanée Conti (DRC). Those that visit Burgundy often give the opposite advice: why are you getting hung up on DRC when there are so many other great wines and winemakers? So, what do you do? I chose the latter route. I visited Burgundy recently and decided to go on the bicycle wine
route to visit with several producers.
